Many times he seemed to be impossibly stuck in the middle of different factions within the band. But when it was all said and done, he really pulled some great sounds and performances out of the band. Interestingly, this record was finished the day before we did our very first commercial radio performance in support of the song “Hell”, which was about to take off and delay “Perennial Favorites” for over another year. Strange and amazing times these were.”
